It's now July, past the half-way mark into the year, aaaaand unfortunatly Im still where I was wehn I last wrote months ago You'd think soemthign wouldve happened by now surely?? Well last week I did some work experience at my dad's work which is a courthouse (he's a sheriff officer) and I worked in the office part and did some court case filing and got to watch some court cases happen and such, but when I asked if there was any part time work avaible the woman boss said no Well apart from that what Im doing with myself lately is trying to save for a much better camera. Im saving for a Olypmus SP-565, does anyone here have any info to tell me about this camera?? Ive done my research on it already but Id like to know if it's a good camera from someone who's used it before. [Thunderball - Mr. Bungle] Ive also been getting some props and art supplies lately just to keep me busy while Im not doing anything with myself haha Doing some photoshoots and stuff. Im hoping with a better camera I can do some good photos and create a portfolio for myself. I have no experience in a studio but maybe someone might be generous to give me a shot without any work expeirence in the photography field. I know about lighting and composition and stuff, but I just havent worked or studyed at a high place like Uni, but I already know most of that stuf on my own terms. But I doubt thats gonna change their minds Despite us JUST dodging the recession, people are still stingy with hiring young people. [Kill the DJ - Peeping Tom] So all in all, my mood is 'satisfied' becuase im not so much doing nothing, im keeping myself busy with photoshoots and writing down future ideas and planning them out and such, buuuuuut I still would feel better if there were some job oppourtunities closer to where I live and that would be willing to hire a young chap like me who doesn't have much work exeprience under my belt. Isn't learning the best part? Im not complelty useless! Id hate to see this whole year wasted with me sitting on my arse doing nothing while everyone I know is atleast working towards something, it make me sick with myself. I thought id be one of the last people to be in this situation, I thought I had my plan all worked out. And I kinda did, but when that failed I relaised I didnt have a plan B, hence why Im here now. But only time will tell I guess, unfortunalty, Ive wasted enough friggen time already! Well I think I might edit some more photos in photoshop, ciao ciao!
